We are going to be singing kirtan at Brown University in Providence RI this Saturday, March 17th. The event will be held at Hillel Social Hall at 80 Brown Street on the corner of Angell and Brown and beings at 10pm. This will be our first time in Providence since the 2010 “Waves” tour, and we are delighted to be returning.

My debut album “Waves” is currently unavailable via the usual digital music distributors such as iTunes, Amazon, and so forth. This is because I am preparing to relaunch the album under the name “Jayadeva,” instead of the original release, which was under the name “Jdavyd Williams.” You can still order a physical copy from this website. Digital copies, in a variety of formats, can be purchased directly from me via bandcamp.

Nine years ago today my beloved Guru, HH Sri Swami Satchidanda attained Mahasamadhi. It is on this auspicious occasion that I am pleased to reveal the cover art for my next album, Guru Om.

This wonderful painting was done by my friend Susan H. Martin. The album, to be released later this year, is an offering to Gurudev.

I cannot wait to share it with all of you.

We are going to be joined for this special event by our good friend Robert Bonacolta on live percussion. You can expect to hear a few new chants from my upcoming second album that night as well!

I’m pleased to bring news of upcoming events that the Basement Bhaktis and I will be singing at. The first comes this Saturday, May 7th, at Yogaville in Buckingham Va. We’re going to be leading a series of Ma chants at 7:30 in anticipation of Yogaville’s Mother’s Day celebration the following day. Jai Ma!

We are also grateful to return to Charlottesville’s Bay 1 Studios on Saturday, May 28th. As with the previous events Bay 1 has hosted, the event will begin at 7pm and the cost for entry is only $5. Hari Om Bhaktis!

This past weekend was our first Kirtan in Charlottesville of the year, at a brand new (to us) venue called Bay 1 Studios. The evening and venue worked out so well that we’re going to have another in March, on Saturday the 26th.

Also- this Saturday, March 5th, Yogaville will observe the annual celebration of Mahashivaratri. There will be puja, stories, offerings, and of course lots of kirtan! We’re on the schedule for 11pm and 1am. If you’re in the area, this celebration is not to be missed!
